This is the Terms section of CMD. With over 35,000 Chinese terms with Pīnyīn transcription and English translation, it is designed for the needs of the translator.

Searches

• First, pre-select the search language. (Given the large number of entries this ensures faster searches.)
• Then, in the search box, enter unaccented Pīnyīn, simplified Chinese or traditional Chinese, or English (literal translation of the point name).
  Note that if Pīnyīn syllables are written separately (e.g., pin yin), they will be automatically joined up.
